Our Firm

Hinrichs Flanagan Financial has been a Carolina tradition of excellence and industry leadership since 1935.  For seven decades we've believed in building strong relationships through one-on-one interaction with our clients in order to fully understand, assess, and address their needs.

Our firm exists on a foundation of ethics that helps to guide us every day.  Throughout our history we have adhered to guiding principles and essential values that are based on traditions of quality and integrity - qualities that remain integral to our agency character.  As a firm, we live by five core values:

  • Integrity
  • Passion
  • Accountability
  • Service to others, and
  • Professionalism.

Our unwavering principles, philosophy, and client relationships have helped us grow strong and have shaped who we are today.  We may seem conservative and conventional in our approach, but it that means helping our clients achieve their goals, whether for income protection, financial security, retirement, or education, then it's an approach we want to continue.  Our goal is to help our clients step out from the crowd by helping them attain their chosen level of financial independence and peace of mind.

Hinrichs Flanagan Financial has helped protect individuals, families, and businesses against the financial hardships that often follow the death or disability of a family member, business owner or key employee.  As we have grown, we have broadened our offerings to include not only a sound portfolio of insurance products, but asset accumulation and retirement products and services, as well as a wide range of investment options.

By the end of 2007, we were ranked third in Charlotte, NC in financial planning firms by the Charlotte Business Journal and had over $1 billion of assets under management.
